Groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of the Guangzhou plant was held on 10/15, that officiated by Mr. Jack Chen, President of the Guangzhou factory, on behalf of Mr. Joseph Hsu, Chairman of ABC-ATEC. With the vision of "creating and developing a world-class inductor industry", the Guangzhou factory has been working hard for a long time to promote rationalization, automation, intelligence, and the development of Industry 4.0; to achieve the Group's medium and long-term goal of "ten billion dollars revenue in ten years", accelerate the integration of production in China and the development of new products, expand revenue and scale up production.

President Chen mentioned in his speech that the times are advancing rapidly, and the future is the era of intelligence, ABC-ATEC must follow the footsteps of the times and develop towards intelligent factory, intelligent production, and intelligent logistics to enhance the ABC value chain system and create the core competitiveness! We believe that with the support and assistance from the government leaders and guests, we are confident in our future development and will never stop moving forward in the highly competitive market.

Chairman Joseph Hsu and President Francis Fan, Ph.D., attended the ceremony via video link at the Taiwan Headquarter. Chairman Hsu expressed his gratitude to the Guangzhou factory, under the leadership of President Chen, which has been working hard to comply with the epidemic prevention regulations and has been able to resume production as quickly as possible and increase productivity. In the severe epidemic year of 2020, ABC-ATEC has been able to grow 11.25% against all odds. With the establishment of the Technology Innovation and Development Committee this year and the promotion of the "Long-Term Technology Talent Cultivation Co-program", ABC-ATEC has accelerated technology innovation and steady and sustainable development, and enhanced ABC-ATEC 's contribution to Taiwan's path toward a developed country. We hope to bring impetus to ABC-ATEC's technological energy building and innovation development, which is also ABC-ATEC Electronics Group's corporate mission.

Finally, President Francis Fan, Ph.D. stressed that, in the face of the global epidemic, the employees of ABC have never forgotten their original intention and always uphold the spirit of "I am doing the excellent all the time" and continue to make efforts to improve.The Group's revenue for 2021 has grown by more than 20% compared to last year. As the Group's most important production site, Guangzhou factory has been able to achieve its annual target in the face of global industrial and economic difficulties by continuously improving its technology, but ABC-ATEC does not take this as a source of complacency and should strive for excellence to reach the next level.
